So I posted this to my facebook page a while back, but thought I’d share it with you guys (which would be most likely only my mother) as well.

It’s a series of videos from Robert Hanashiros Sports Shooter Academy in 2004…

I really like shooting sports, especially football, and this just gave me so much info on how to do this like the pro’s.

Robert Hanashiro goes through things like what to wear during a game, where to shoot from, what gear to use and so on…

So who is this “Bert”, and why does he think he can come here, or more correctly, stay where he is, and tell us how to shoot football…

Well first of all he’s a staff photographer going on twenty years for USA Today, and he’s shoot everything from the Olympics to the Academy Awards…

Oh, and he also founded sportsshooter.com 12 years ago.

Sportsshooter.com is a community for sports photographers from all over the world, though primarily Americans.

What started as a newsletter he used to send out to his fellow colleagues, has grown into a website with thousands of dedicated followers, and also a photographer academy for aspiring sports photographers.

You can follow him personally through his blog at: http://rhanashiro.wordpress.com

EDIT:

Just found a way to display small thumbnails in wordpress… doesn’t work the normal way. These are just some of the shots I took with my new found knowledge..
