To consider:

Webster’s dictionary defines the word as:

to ponder, think out, weigh the advantages and disadvantages of; to assess before reaching a decision.

I’ll get back to this later on…

So I finally got my camera back from service… I was supposed to have gotten it back Tuesday, but the package distribution firm had delivered it to the wrong place…

Any ways, no worries, the camera is back and I’ve updated the firmware (I found out, after I had shipped the camera of to www.visual-service.dk, that Canon had just released a firmware update nr.: 1.0.6. This firmware supposedly fixes the very problem I had with my mirror locking, the screen going dark and the text “BUSY” blinking in the viewfinder).

You can find the article leading to the firmware on DPreview.

So now that I’ve gotten my camera back, the question I posed to myself a while back still stands… Imagine that you’ve got 1600$/1000£, how would you spend it, if your main interest was taking pictures of sports.

I’m a Canon user so naturally I’m looking at the, almost godlike lens, the 70-200mm f:2.8 L USM lens…

I can get it on Ebay for app. 900£, but that forces me to buy it from someone I’ve never met! I’m kinda sensitive about my money as are most of us, so if I could find the same lens locally for maybe a 1000£ that would be preferable… preferable yes, feasible no!!!!

I’m also considering waiting until I get my next paycheck and just buying it from one from one of the local internet shops that provides picking up the lens at their shop…

You get what you pay for I guess..

So I’m considering…

Pondering…

Thinking out…

Weighing the advantages and disadvantages…
