Found this really great “behind the scenes” video on youtube.com…

Joel Grimes, a fashion photographer situated in L.A. made  this really great and informative video on how to capture some great images with a kinda DIY approach to the lighting setup.

He shows you his lights and settings and how to put it all together to get the shots he’s looking for.

He uses the Canon 580 EX II flashes and Pocket Wizards mounted to studio softboxes and Octaboxes, but I bet ya, you could use a Cactus KF-36 manual flash and Cactus V4 triggers, put them into the same modifiers, and get the same result.

He also writes a blog and this particular post is the one mentioned in the video.
