I attended an Elite officiating Course a couple of weeks ago, and we ended up doing my first large group shot..

I took this with my Canon 1000D mounted on my Manfrotto 055xPROB stand with the EF-S 18-55 IS lens.

I used two Cactus KF-36 manual flash units and one Canon 430EX II, all fired with Cactus V4 triggers…

Edited the photo afterwards in Lightroom, cropping and adding vignetting.

EXIF: 1/100 - f:6.3 - ISO 400 - 3 flash units used

I had one flash on a bookcase camera left high, one straight on at ground level firing up at the faces, and one in the back trying to give me some separation from the background…

This was a first for me and I can see that it takes a lot of practice to get this shot looking the way I want it to.
